50-280 50-281 License Nos: DPR-32 DPR-37 TECHNICAL EVALUATION REPORT ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION OF SAFETY-RELATED ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SURRY-POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 The NRC letter of January 26, 1983 transmitted the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) for Environmental Qualification of Safety-Related Electrical Equipment at Surry Power Station Unit Nos. I and 2.
The SER section on Proprietary Review requested the owner/originatot to review The Franklin Research Center Technical Evaluation Report and advise NRR whether any portions of pages identified as con-taining proprietary information still require proprietary protection.
Vepco has reviewed the pages identified as proprietary and has determined that proprietary protection is still required.
The NRC will be provided with a clear identification of the information, and the specific rationale and justification for this protection, consistent with the criteria enumerated in 10 CFR 2.79U(b), by April 8, 1983.
This is consistent with the requirement of the SER.
