NUREG-0696 RESPONSE In response to Generic Letter 81-10, which transmitted NUREG-0696 to the nuclear utility industy, Vepco provided information on our plans for Emergency Response Facilities (ERFs) by letter dated June 1, 1981 (Serial No. 312).

This information was supplemented by letter dated April 8, 1982 (Serial No.

102).

Recently, Vepco was contacted by the NRC with a request for additional information regarding the status of our efforts pertaining to ERF location and construction.

The requested information was given over the phone to the Surry NRC Project Manager for both the Surry and North Anna stations.

In order to formally respond to this request, the attachment to this letter provides confirmation of the information given over the phone.
