AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSES DPR-32 AND DPR-37 SURRY POWER STATION UNITS NO. 1 AND NO. 2 SUPPLEMENT TO PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE By the letter dated February 14, 1979, we proposed changes to the Technical Specifications for Surry Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 to meet the new inservice inspection and testing requirements for nuclear power plant components. The enclosed proposed changes supplement our above referenced license amendment application.

The enclosed changes revise the Technical Specifications for Inservice Inspection and Testing in accordance with Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and applicable Addenda as required by 10 CFR 50, Section 50.55a(g), except where specific written relief has been granted by the NRC pursuant to 10 CFR 50, Section 50.55a(g)(6)(i).

This request has been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and the Safety Evaluation and Control Staff. It has been determined that this request does not involve an unreviewed safety question.

We have reviewed this request in accordance with the criteria in 10 CFR 170.22. Since this request supplements our previous license amendment application referenced above, no additional license amendment fee is required.
