Serial No. 312 NO/RMT:ms Docket Nos. 50-280 50-281 50-338 50-339 License Nos: DPR-32 DPR-37 NPF-4 NPF-7 On December 18, 1980 (Letter Serial No. 1008), Virginia Electric and Power Company submitted the Draft NUREG 0696 Implementation Plan for Surry Power Station and North Anna Power Station.
In accordance with the final revision of NUREG 0696 published in February 1981, this Revision 1 to that Plan is being submitted.
Individual sections of the NUREG have been addressed in individual sections of this plan to facilttate review.
In Appendix 4 of the attached report a tentative schedule for the completion of the NUREG 0696 Implementation Plan is given.
These dates are preliminary and* are subject to change as the final engineering material delivery and construction progress.
We will inform you if significant changes to this schedule occur.
Concerning the uncertain future of the prescribed Nuclear Data Link, our original intent to provide the necessary access remains unchanged.
It is our understanding t,hat the Commission is proceeding with a prototype of that system and should ~hey proceed with their proposed link with two operating facilities that one of the Vepco nuclear stations be considered.
