e SURRY POWER STATION IE BULLETIN 81-01 SURVEILLANCE OF MECHANICAL SNUBBERS Attachment Page 1 Surry presently has 26 Mechanical Snubbers installed on various systems.
Unit 2 utilizes 25 Mechanical Shock Suppressors and Unit 1 utilizes 1.
All
- Mechanical Snubbers installed were manufactured by Pacific Scientific Company (Model PSA-3).
During the upcoming outage on Unit 2, scheduled to commence April 17, 1981, Mechanical. Snubbers will be inspected/tested in accordance with the requirements of IEB 81-01.
Results and a description of the inspections performed will be submitted within 60 days after the completion of the inspection.

NORTH ANNA POWER STATION IE BULLETIN 81-01 SURVEILLANCE OF MECHANICAL SNUBBERS Attachment Page 2 There are no _Mechanical Snubbers installed on North Anna Unit 2.
During the
. present refueling outage on North Anna Unit 1, we have installed four (4)
Pacific Scientific Company (PSA-\\) snubbers.
These snubbers were field veri-fied to be operable.
The next inspection is planned to coincide with the next required hydraulic snubber inspection (in approximately 12 months).
