"FAILURES OF SOLENOID VALVES MANUFACTURED BY VALCOR ENGINEERING CORPORATION" Attachment Page 1 The following documents were reviewed in order to determine if the subject Valcor valves as listed. in the I.E.Bulletin 80-23 were used in North Anna Units 1 and 2.
Units 1 and 2 NAPS Instrumentation Loop Diagrams Valve purchase requisitions Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation Report - 431 Unit I I.E. Bulletin 79-0lB - 45 and 90 day review.
The conclusions' obtained from this review indicated that only two (2) Valcor valves existed for each unit, the nitrogen supply valve for each pressurizer power operated relief valve (SOV-1456-3, 1455C-3, 2456-3, and 2455C-3).
Those valves were inspected and found not to have the part number cited in the Bulletin.
No other valves manufactured by Valcor were found at the station.
An estimated sixteen manhours were expended to conduct this review.
SURRY POWER STATION FAILURE OF SOLENOID VALVES MANUFACTURED BY VALCOR ENGINEERING COMPANY INSPECTION ENFORCEMENT BULLETIN 80-23 Attachment Page 2 It has been determined, by a system review, that Surry Power Station does not have installed, or in stock, any solenoid valves of the type described by Inspection Enforcement Bulletin 80-23.
An estimated five manhours were expended to con.duct this review.
