SURRY POWER STATION Serial No. 354J/061478 NO/SWB/sjl Docket Nos. 50-280 50-281 License Nos.
DPR-32 DPR-37 FIRE PROTECTION MODIFICATIONS Amendment Nos. 54 and 53 to the Surry Power Station Operating License require facility modifications for fire protection.
Attached for your information is the Project Status Summary.
Information regarding the status of specific pro-jects is given below:
(a)
Cable Tray Cover design information (item 3.1.4) originally sched-uled for submittal by March 31, 1980 will be forwarded by May 31, 1980.
Field surveys identifying existing cable routing envelopes are now in progress.
(b)
The design of the modified breathing air filling station (item 3.1.3) is complete.
The equipment has been ordered and is expected to be delivered by May 15, 1980.
Installation of the air filling station will be complete by June 30, 1980.
We will continue to inform you of our progress in implementing the require-ments and will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
