Dear Mr. Denton:
AMMENDED START-UP REQUEST SURRY POWER STATION UNIT 2 Our letter of February 22, 1980 (Vepco Serial No. 138) requested start-up of Surry Power Station Unit 2 upon completion of certain modifications.
These modifications were associated with the Order to Show Cause of March 13, 1979 and I.E.Bulletin 79-14.
Our start-up request was based partially upon completion of detailed support analyses and resulting modifications on four Show Cause systems outside the containment structure.
We wish to amend that request to now include our completion of all modifications associated with the Order to Show Cause regardless of their being inside the containment or outside the containment.
Completion of these modifications prior to start-up will preclude any further work as a result of that Order.
