Dear Mr. Denton:

Lessons Learned Short Term Requirements Surry Power Station Units 1 and 2 North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2 In our response of January 10, 1980, we identified a small number of Lessons Learned Category A Short Term Requirements which were not.yet fully implemented at our Surry and North Anna Stations.

This letter provides the status of implementation for those units which are in operation at this time including Surry Unit 1 (Attachment A) and North.Anna Unit 1 (Attachment B).

Surry Unit 2 is currently shutdown for steam generator replacement and North Anna Unit 2 is awaiting the issuance of an operating license.

Additional information on the implementation of the Category A items on Surry Unit 2 and North.Anna Unit 2 will be provided prior to the operation of these units.

We will continue to update you on our progress in implementing the short term requirements and will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
