Schwencer informing us of a Public Notice (!\\.ugust 20, 1979) giving approval of the480 V Emergency Bus modifica-tions at our Surry Power Station. Also, in. the*. letter, we find a request to reflect these modifications in theSurryFS~o Currently, our design control procedures are outlined in Section 3 of the Power Station Quality Assurance Manual.

These procedures do not require FSAR revision~

The manual does, however, require that other documentation be updated as appropriate.

As noted in our May 3, 1979 letter, the modifications do not constitute an unreviewed safety question; therefore, we intend to maintain records of.

these modifications in accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and the Quality Assurance Manual.
