KEYNOTE PAPER ON LICENSING AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR BEST ESTIMATE PLUS UNCERTAINTY APPLICATION The enclosure is a keynote paper to be presented at the Best Estimate Plus Uncertainty (BEPU) International Conference in Lucca, Italy, during May 13 - 19, 2018. The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum to exchange experience and views among professionals in the nuclear industry in the development and use of BEPU in multi-physics and multi-scale applications in the safety analyses and design of nuclear power plants. This conference is co-sponsored by the American Nuclear Society, the Nuclear Energy Agency and the International Atomic Energy Agency. The organizers of the conference have additional initiatives such as parallel workshops related to BEPU topics.
