UIN Minor errors 159
- 1. ITAAC Completion Description for Items 3.a) and 3.b): the staff thinks the Table Number for the pressure boundary welds in components should be Table 2.2.3-1 and not 2.2.3-2 as listed in the UIN.
- 2. In the ITAAC Completion Description for Items 6, related to LBB for piping, the correct attachment for piping is Attachment B and not A as stated in the UIN.
- 3. The ITAAC Completion Description for Items 4.a) and 4.b) lists test procedure XYZ for the hydro, which is not listed in the references.
- 1. Agree, Typo error. Table 2.2.3-1 is correct.
SNC proposes to correct this in the ICN submittal.
- 2. The intent of the second ¶ of section 6 was to convey that the piping materials are also needed in a LBB evaluation (i.e., weld material that joins not only the pipe listed in Attachment B but also the piping material that join components listed in Attachment A).
For clarification, SNC proposes to reword the second ¶ to delete the words identified in Attachment A when the ICN is submitted.
Note: Other previously submitted ASME consolidation UINs with this same sentence in their LBB paragraphs are: 13, 220, and 355. This sentence will also be revised in their ICNs.
- 3. This appears to have been previously addressed in the 4/3/18 email, comment 1:
SNC has a statement, A hydrostatic test is performed in accordance with procedure XYZ (as applicable) that complies with the ASME Code (1998 Edition, 2000 Addenda),Section III requirements. It is understood that the procedure XYZ may not exist today and will be developed later and at that time SNC will have the correct document number. This procedure is not currently listed in the Reference Documents listing of the UIN. This procedure needs to be included in the list of references with the specific procedure number in the ITAAC Closure Notification (ICN) when issued in the future. Note:
The above comment applies to UINs 13, 91, 120, and 220 (i.e., all U3 and U4 ASME UINs)
As noted in SNCs response to this comment, SNC will add the hydro procedure (currently designated as XYZ) to the Reference list in the ICN.
Note: The procedure has been added as a reference in the ASME UINs submitted after the 4/3/18 comment was received (ITAAC 285, 355, 392).

UIN Missing references 197
- 1. In Attachment A tabulation, two notes identified as + and ++ list UFSAR Table 3.2-3 and Piping & Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID) APP-PXS-M6-001 because the Attachment includes information excerpted from these two documents. These two documents (i.e.,
UFSAR Table 3.2-3 and Piping &
Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID) APP-PXS-M6-001) should be included in the list of Reference Documents provided in the UIN.
SNC agrees to modify this consistent with previous Attachments that include excerpted material UINs. Piping & Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID) APP-PXS-M6-001 and UFSAR Table 3.2-3 will be added to the Reference list in the ICN with the corresponding reference number replacing the + and the ++ in the Attachment table column title.

UIN Fire barriers 797 The UIN should reference back to the appropriate section(s) of the FSAR that describes the fire areas and required barriers.
Duplicate comment - it appears that the 4/25 comment #3 for 797 in this table is also comment # 7 (for 797 & 798) in the 5/3/18 Clarification Questions. Therefore, it will be addressed in the response to the 5/3/18 Clarification Questions.
