Dear Mr. Hanson:

In a telephone conversation on May 2, 2018, between Mr. N. Kenderdine, Operations Instructor/Examination Lead and Mr. D. Reeser, NRC Operations Engineer, an agreement was reached regarding a change in the required date for delivery of your staffs feedback on the proposed examinations being developed by the staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). No changes are being made to the dates associated with the examination validation visit in June, or the examination administration in July.

In the original Confirmation of Initial License Examination letter dated December 29, 2017, the proposed examinations were to be provided to your staff for review and comment on or before April 27, 2018, with feedback, from your staff, on the proposed examinations due no later than May 25, 2018. Because of unanticipated delays in the NRC development and review of the proposed written examination, delivery of the proposed 75 question Reactor Operator written examination, to your staff, is expected to occur on or before May 4, 2018, and delivery of the 25 question Senior Reactor Operator written examination, to your staff is expected to occur on or before May 11, 2018. Feedback on the proposed written examinations, is now expected on or before June 1, 2018.
