STAFF REQUIREMENTS MEMORANDUM - BRIEFING ON STRATEGIC PROGRAMMATIC OVERVIEW OF THE FUEL FACILITIES AND THE NUCLEAR MATERIALS USERS BUSINESS LINES, 9:00 A.M., THURSDAY, APRIL 26, 2018, COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM, ONE WHITE FLINT NORTH, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)
The Commission was briefed by the NRC staff on topics associated with the Fuel Facilities and the Nuclear Materials Users Business Lines. Topics discussed from the Fuel Facilities Business Line included an overview of the fuel facilities business line, current fuel cycle program environment, fuel cycle inspection program activities, and the Office of Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards / Office of the Chief Financial Officer fee billing project update. The Nuclear Materials Users Business Line topics included an overview of the nuclear materials users business line, current materials program environment, regional materials licensing and inspection program activities, and emerging medical technologies.
