Enclosed is an application (XCOM1318), dated March 28, 2018, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), from Curtiss-Wright Corporation to export nuclear reactor components and associated equipment listed in Paragraphs 5 through 11 of Appendix A to 10 CFR Part 110, "Illustrative list of nuclear reactor equipment under NRC export licensing authority," for installation into pressurized water reactors at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Assurances from South Africa that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of respective agreements for cooperation, are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated, ?
