Thank you for providing the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) with the opportunity to review and comment on the U.S. Government Accountability Offices (GAOs) draft report, Federal Chief Information Officers: Critical Actions Needed to Address Shortcoming and Challenges in Implementing Responsibilities GAO-18-93. The NRC has reviewed the draft report and is in general agreement with its findings. However, the NRC is not in agreement with GAOs recommendations for the NRC, as explained in the enclosure.
