Transporting deadly material across the country, risking accidental spills. Storing it in short-term containers, but without any long-term solution. Dumping the nuclear industrys waste in someone elses backyard, taking advantage of indigenous peoples. When (not if) the containers leak, poisoning one of our lands most important aquifers. And no long-term financial responsibility being put onto the players who generate, transport, and store this mess.
