The NRC's inability to resolve the permanent storage of spent nuclear fuel for the past 50+ years demonstrates that interim storage is actually long term if not permanent storage. The only acceptable location for Holtec's interim storage facility is right next to the spent nuclear fuel's planned permanent storage location in Yucca Mountain Nevada. That way your spent nuclear.
fuel does not have to be moved interstate twice and Nevadan's can start getting used to the concept. After all, Nevada accepted the $15 billion+ expenditure of Federal funds1to develop Yucca Mountain, and it if not for the Barrack Obama/ Harry Reid/ Gregory Jaczko cabal's efforts to prevent it& opening, Yucca Mountain would have been in operation by now. The NRC is not to be trusted.
