4. 36 Place the control switch for 1-SI-P-lA in tl11:: Auto po~ition and verify green light is lit.

4 .37 Simulate a safety iilj ection sign;:1.J. by plc:.c~ng a jumpe:c from point to point 10 on SI5L.:en:iI-1~ 4.38 Verify illumination of red light on control board for 1-SI-P-lA. 4.39 Remove jumper installed by step 4.37. 4 .40 Turn control switch for 1-SI-P--lA to the off position. Re.turn breaker 14ll3 to original position.

4.42 Place the control switch for 1-SI-P-lB in the auto position and verify illumination of green light:. 4.43 Simulate a safety injection by placing a jumper from point to point on Sl5BTB5H.

At shutoff the required horsepower is 120 BHP Per calculation 12496.25 #32 normal flow for 1 pump operation is 2045-2400 GPM. This flow (2400 GPM) requires 200 BHP Per calculation 12496.25 #35 normal flow for each pump during two pump operation is 1730-2015 GPM. This flow (2015 GPM) requires 180 BHP. Flows vary due to changing RWST level and continment pressure. Worst case (for horsepower required) will be during runout conditions. 2.0 .Electrical Analysis This analysis investigates the electrical load on 480V safety buses as a result of the mechanical system demand calculated in Section 1.0. 480V load centers lH and lJ feed the pump motors as listed below. lH lJ Containment Spray Pump 1-CS-P-lA 1-CS-P-lB Inside Recirc. Spray Pump 1-RS-P-lA 1-RS-P-lB outside Recirc. Spray Pump 1-Rs-p:..2A l-RS-P-2B Low Head Safety Injection Pump 1-SI-P-lA 1-SI-P-lB Heaviest load on these electrical buses occurs when all pumps are running during loss of coolant accident conditions. Worst case load would occur with all pumps running and demanding highest brake horsepower due to mechanical system parameters (such as runout or shutoff head conditions.). From the mechanical system results of section I.O maximum pump brake horesepower demand is summarized below. Corresponding electrical load to supply this brake horsepower is also listed.
