- "ADDITIONAL* INFORMATION Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, the Virginia Electric and Power Company requested, by letter dated August 31, 197g, Serial No. 500, an amendment in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications to Operating License Nos. DPR-32 and DPR-37 for Surry Power.Station, Unit Nos~ 1 arid :2.
The pro-posed changes, designated as Change No. 71, were to reflect a reorganization of the Production ~perations De~artment onsite and offsite and to incorporate severa 1 minor changes and corrections. Enclosed is additional information on this change.
- The August 31, 1978, submittal included a revised Figure:6~1-1, the Power organiza*tional chart. There has been a management reorganization since then which is reflected in the attached revised ~igure:6~1~1.
The reorganiza-tion is des_igned to increase efficiency and therefore enhance safety.
- This proposed change has been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operatin*g Committee, and the System Nuclear Safety and Operating Committ~e.
It has been determined that this request does not involve an unreview.ed safety question, as defined in 10 CFR ~0.~9.
