50-280 License No. DPR-32 On September 7, 1978, we sent to you a check in the amount of
$29,292.00 to cover the indemnity fee requested by your invoice number 542-78 dated August 15, 1978.
We understand that the indemnity fee has been reduced from $12.00 to $6.00 per thermal megawatt effective January 1, 1979 as provided in the Price-Anderson Act.
Since our payment covered the Indemnity Agreement for Surry Unit 1 for the period September 11, 1978 through September 10, 1979, we have paid an excess of $10,151.88.
Please refund this excess fee.
