Salem Generating Station Docket No. 50-272/50-311 Amendment to Facility Operating License License Change Request S95-36 The subject request was submitted to the NRC by PSE&G letter dated September 25, 1996.
The' request.proposes,. to. permanently modify Technical specification.:.;3/4*. 8*.* 1.. t;.o. decrease_'. the -frequency and voltage ranges specified in Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) surveillance testing.
This change may result in increased EDG reliability and reduce vital equipment failure rates.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) has reviewed the request in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91 (b) and has no comments.
