REVISION TO COMMITMENTS REGARDING UNITIZING SALEM GENERATING STATIONS UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 By letter dated July 1, '1996, (LR-N96186) Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) notified the NRC of a change to its commitment to unitize the Salem Units 11 and 2.
Unitization was defined as establishing separate Work Control Centers for each unit, and the provision of dedicated personnel for each Salem unit in the Planning, Maintenance, and Operations organizations at the department group head level and below.
This commitment was documented by letters NLR-N94094 and NLR-N94194 dated May 13, and November 1, 1994, respectively.
Additionally, a letter (NLR -
N94063) dated April 8, 1994, also contains the commitment to establish separate work control centers by the end of 1996.
Based on our July 1, 1996 letter, the commitment made in letter LR-N94063 is also changed.
