STEAM GENERATOR TUBE PLUGGING REPORT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 4.4.6.5.a SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NO. 2 FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-75 DOCKET NO. 50-311 Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) hereby submits the steam generator tube plugging report for Salem Unit No. 2 as required by Technical Specification 4.4.6.5.a for Facility Operating License DPR-75.
The steam generator tube inspections were performed during the current outage.
The following is a summary of the number of tubes plugged during this outage as a result of these inspections:
Steam Generator #21 -
41 tubes Steam Generator #22 -
52 tubes Steam Generator #23 -
22 tubes Steam Generator #24 -
105 tubes Total Salem Unit No. 2 steam generator tube plugging is 5.2%.
By letter dated August 21, 1995 (ref: LR-N95116), PSE&G committed to repair or replace Alloy 600 Thermally Treated (TT) steam generator tube plugs during the current forced outage.
To satisfy this commitment, all Alloy 600 TT tube plugs in both the hot legs and cold legs of the Unit 2 steam ge~erators have been repaired.
No plugs needed replacement.
