SALEM UNIT 2 GL 89-10 CLOSURE NOTIFICATION LETTER GENERIC LETTER 89-10 FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-75 SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-311 Pursuant to 10CFR50.54(f) and in accordance with Generic 89-10, Item, this letter serves as notification that the committed programmatic actions taken to address Items a through h of Generic Letter 89-10 have been implemented at Salem Generating Station, Unit 2.
Based on the best available information, all committed actions have been completed and the valves are set to envelope design basis operating requirements.
We continue to review our documentation in order to identify appropriate longer term operating margin enhancements and to incorporate new industry information.
It is our understanding that this notification will initiate discussions relative to a closure review of our program.
We look forward to providing any support or additional information necessary to close Generic Letter 89-10 for Salem Unit 2.
