Salem Generating Station Unit Nos.1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-272 and 50-311 License Change Request LCR 94-25 Removal of Seismic and Meteorological Instrumentation from the Technical Specifications Public Service Electric and Gas Company.submitted:the 0subject amendment to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on September 29, 1994.
This request removes Sections 3/4.3.3.3 "Seismic Instrumentation" and 3/4. 3*. 3. 4 "Meteorological Monitoring Instrumentation" from the Technical Specifications and relocates this information to the Salem Updated Final Safety Analysis Report.
These changes conform with the NRC guidance specified in NUREG-1431, "Standard Technical Specifications-Westinghouse Plants."
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering reviewed the above amendment in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.91(b) and has no comments.
