Purpose:
The purpose of this management meeting is to for the licensee to present their plans, actions, assessment, and schedules relative to improvements to the design and operation of the Salem circulating water (CW) intake, and their assessments and contingency plans relative to potential. debris impact on either Salem or Hope Creek service water (SW) intakes. This meeting was requested by the NRC as a result of findings identified by the April 7, 1994 Augmented Inspection Team in which a grass intrusion ultimately caused a plant shutdown with complications.
