Salem Generating Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-272 and 50-311 License Change Request LCR 94-14 Restoration of Inoperable Equipment to Determine Operability By letter dated June 13, 1994, Public Service Electric and Gas Company submitted the subject amendment to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
The amendment permits an out-of-service component to be returned to *service under administrative controls for the purpose of determining operability. This change is consistent with the method utilized in the new Standard Technical Specifications (NUREG-1431).
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering reviewed the above amendment in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.9l(b) and has no comments.
