Modification of OSTR Physical Security Plan Commission:

As a result of a desire to change the storage of security related keys, certain changes to the OSTR Physical Security Plan were determined to be necessary. This letter represents our formal report of the changes governed by 10 CFR 50.54(p). Based on our evaluation of these revisions, we have concluded that none of the specific changes in the attached enclosure reduces the plan's effectiveness.

In keeping with the instructions in USN RC generic letters 84-18 and 82-39, specific information regarding the Physical Security Plan changes are included as a separate enclosure (Enclosure 1) to this letter. Enclosure 2 provides you a new copy of the Physical Security Plan. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d) and any other applicable parts of the USNRC's regulations, we hereby request that Enclosure 1, Enclosure 2, and this letter, when it is attached to either of these enclosures, be withheld from public disclosure.
