Purpose:
The purpose of this Enforcement Conference is to discuss the apparent violations identified from NRC's review of the April 7, 1994, automatic shutdown of Salem Unit 1, including cause, safety significance, and corrective actions. The meeting was requested by the NRC as a result of findings identified by the Augmented Inspection Team and other NRC inspection activities related to the event.
