This footnote will denote that the main feedwater stop check valves are exempt from 10 CFR 50 Appendix J Type c testing. These valves are designated as such in Section 6. 2 of the Final Safety Analysis Report.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) has reviewed the request and the supplemental information in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b) and has no comments.
