NRC BULLETIN 88-11 PRESSURIZER SURGE LINE THERMAL STRATIFICATION SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NO. 1 DOCKET NO. 50-272 By letter dated December 10, 1992 (ref: NLR-N92164), Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) revised its response to NRC Bulletin 88-11.

WCAP-12913, Revision 1, was submitted as an enclosure to the °letter.

Based on the revised WCAP, PSE&G withdrew its commitment to perform spring hanger mo'ciifications and committed to perform walkdown measurements of the Pressurizer Surge Line spring hanger travel and pipe whip restraints during the eleventh refueling outage.

PSE&G hereby confirms the completion of the required walkdown.

The results of these walkdowns indicate that the spring hanger displacements and whip restraints do not show any adverse resµlts and are satisfactory.
