St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket No. 50-335 Proposed Amendment to Facility 0 eratin License No.
DPR-67 Our letter of December 14, 1976 (L-76-424), forwarded to you a detailed error analysis for the calorimetric technique of flow measurement that was used to determine the uncer-tainty in reactor coolant flow rate for St. Lucie Unit 1 at 100 percent power.
The report was made in accordance with the June 17, 1976, Order for Modification of License DPR-67 and the NRC Safety Evaluation supporting the St. Lucie Unit 1 interim power limit of 90 percent rated power.
Based on the above, Florida Power a Light Company requests
'that the St. Lucie Unit 1 Operating License be amended to authorize operation at 100 percent rated power by deleting provision three (3) of the June 17th order.
Our current schedule shows that ascension to 100 percent power will be possible after January 20, 1977.
Therefore, your timely response will be appreciated.
This proposed license amendment has been reviewed by the St. Lucie Plant Facility Review Group and the Florida Power 6 Light Company Nuclear Review Board who have determined that the proposed amendment does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.
