SALEM GENERATING STATION NJPDES PERMIT NO. NJ0005622 TREATMENT WORKS APPROVAL Pursuant to NJAC 7:14A-12 et. seq., Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) hereby submits an application for a Treatment Works Approval (TWA) for the installation of an oil water separator at the Salem Generating Station.
The oil water separator will be*
installed on the discharge of the South Yard Drain, DSN 489.
currently, the South Yard Drain discharges wastewater to the Delaware River after treatment in Salem's two skim tanks, DSNs.
489A and 489B, as well as site stormwater.

- Motor Operated Valves for the Oil Water Separator system In addition, PSE&G is enclosing a check in the amount of $6,720 made payable to the "Treasurer, State of New Jersey" to cover the application filing fee.
Due to the time schedule required for completion of this project and the requirement to conduct an Effluent Characterization Study on the discharge from the new system, PSE&G is requesting that the Department expedite their review of this project to allow timely installation an~ operation of this system.
