-UPDATE ON 10CFR 50, APPENDIX R MODIFICATIONS SALEM GENERATING STATION, UNIT NOS. l AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 On July 9, 1992, a meeting was held at NRC King of Prussia offices between NRC representatives from NRR and Region I, and Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) to provide the NRC with a status for all outstanding items regarding 10 CFR 50, Appendix R, as applicable to the Salem Unit Nos. 1 and 2.
At that meeting, we indicated that all Appendix R modifications committed to be complete by the end of July, 1992 were finished.
We also confirmed that our Penetration Seal Project was on schedule for completion by the end of July and provided a completion schedule for our Fire Damper Project.
The purpose of this letter is to confirm that all Appendix R modification commitments and the Penetration Seal Project are complete and that our Fire Damper Project is on schedule for completion in 1995.
