Salem Generating Station Docket Nos. 50-272 and 50-311 License Change Request LCR 89-06 Reactor Trip System (RTS) and Engineered Safety Features Actuation System (ESFAS) Revisions Director By letter dated May 11, 1992, Public Service Electri9 and Gas company ( PSE&G) submitted the subject l'icerise **change *,reqiiest> to:~fhe Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). The':*prop'osed* 'cjhanges revise the Reactor Trip System (RTS) and Engineered Safety Features Actuation System ( ESFAS) Instrument Sections and associated Bases, for Surveillance Test Intervals (STI) and Allowable Outage Times (AOT). These changes are line item improvements previously approved by the NRC and documented in Safety Evaluations for WCAP-10271.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) reviewed the above amendment in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.91(b).
Based on this review, the BNE does not have any comments on this change request.
