APPROVAL OF GE HITACHI GLOBAL LASER ENRICHMENT, LLC CLASSIFIED CYBER NETWORK In the enclosed letter, Global Laser Enrichment, LLC (GLE) requested Department of Energy (DOE) continued Authorization To Operate (ATO) for the classified network identified in Program Cyber Security Plan - Engineering and Industrial Control System Environments for the GE Hitachi Global Laser Enrichment LLC Wilmington, NC Facilities (PCSP), GLEP-00015-R, Revision 5.1, approval for this PCSP, and approval for the Classified Distributive Information Network (CDIN), GLEP-00023-R, Revision 8.2.
The DOE Nuclear Energy Oak Ridge Site Office (NE-ORSO), acting as the Authorizing Official (AO) for the GLE classified cyber networks, approves PSCP, GLEP-00015-R, Revision 5.1, and CDIN, GLEP-00023-R, Revision 8.2. Based upon these approvals, DOE NE-ORSO approves GLEs request for continued ATO for the network identified in PSCP, GLEP-00015-R, Revision 5.1 for the processing up to, and including, Secret Restricted Data, with no change in the current ATO expiration date.
In order to re-authorize this classified network before the current November 2018 expiration date, GLE is requested to submit the 2018 Continuous Monitoring (CM) or CM Report to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and DOE NE-ORSO prior to this November 2018 date. Once this Report is determined to be acceptable, DOE NE-ORSO, as AO, will be able to renew the ATO for the classified cyber network identified in PCSP, GLEP-00015-R, Revision 5.1, for an additional three (3) years.
