ADDITIONAL INFORMATION LCR 89-03 SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS 1 AND 2 FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NOS. DPR-70 AND DPR-75 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) hereby submits additional information concerning License Change Request (LCR) 89-03, submitted September 13, 1989, amended by letter dated July 10, 1990.
Item 1 -
Table 3.3-1, Functional Units 16 and 17, Reactor Coolant Pumps Undervoltage and Underfrequency This change is being requested to allow compliance with Action 6.
If the total number of channel and the minimum number of channels are both four, Action 6b cannot be met.
PSE&G is requesting the minimum number of channels be changed to three.
Therefore, with one channel inoperable, there would be sufficient channels to meet the minimum number as required by Action 6b.
Item 5 -
Table 3.3-3, Action 20, Steam Line Isolation and Auxiliary Feedwater Automatic Actuation Logic PSE&G withdraws its request to change the time requirements for the listed Action.
PSE&G will resubmit this change at a later date.
