IMPLEMENTATION OF MODIFICATIONS TO THE SALEM POST ACCIDENT SAMPLING SYSTEM (PASS)
SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&GJ committed in letters dated April 18, 1989 and May 9, 1990, to modify the Salem PASS to provide backup grab sample capability.
The May 9, 1990 letter committed to modify the Salem PASS and to upgrade procedures and train appropriate personnel by September 1, 1990 and October 1, 1990 respectively.
PSE&G has satisfied both of these commitments.
The system modifications were completed and internally accepted on August 30, 1990.
Procedure upgrade and training of all PASS qualified technicians was completed on September 26, 1990.
PSE&G considers this item closed.
