SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION RESPONSE TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION NRC SPECIAL INSPECTION NO. 50-272/89-25; 50-311/89-23 SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2.
- DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 On February 8, 1990 (REF: NLR-N90027) Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) submitt~d th.e response to the above Notice of Violation.
As part that response PSE&G committed t~ have AP-32 revised by Fe~ruary 28, 1990.
During the revision process, the need for additional clarifications and enhancements to the AP-32 procedure was identified.
At that time, it was decided to address all identified issues in the present revision.
As a result of this decision, the February 28, 1990 commitment can not be met and a new* date of March 15, 1990 would be more appropriate.
The NRC senior resident inspector and Mr. Paul Swetland, Chief Reactor Project section 2A, were apprised of this situation on February-28, 1990.
