Dear Sir / Madam:

Reference:

A. T. Barbee Letter (SCE&G) to NRC Document Control Desk, Regulatory Issue Summary, RIS 2016-09 Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations, dated July 15, 2016 [ML16201A223]

A. T. Barbee Letter (SCE&G) to NRC Document Control Desk, Regulatory Issue Summary, RIS 2017-03 Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations, dated May 2, 2017 [ML17123A304]

South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G) is submitting a revised anticipated schedule for the 2019 initial licensed operator examination scheduled for VCSNS Unit 1 per the enclosed NRC Forms 536, Operator Licensing Examination Data. VCSNS is cancelling the request for Initial Operator License Examinations for November 2019, and asking for Initial Operator License Examinations to be scheduled in December 2019. The primary starting date proposed for the December 2019 examination is the week of December 9, 2019, with an alternate proposed starting date for the week of December 16, 2019. The revised schedule is required due to SCE&G agreeing to switch Initial Licensed Operator Examination dates with Tennessee Valley Authority's Browns Ferry and Watts Bar nuclear stations.

Should you have any questions concerning this matter, please call Mr. Robert Shane at (803) 345-4146.
