SUBJECT:
SAFETY EVALUATION FOR TIA; EXCORE/INCORE CALIBRATION AT SALEM UNIT 2 (TAC NO. 65358)
Enclosed is the SE approving Public Service Electric and Gas Company's new excore/incore calibration process. Region I had requested assistance in evaluating the technical adequacy of the licensee's 1-point" calibration process and provided the licensee's report NFU-053, entitled, "The Calibration of Excore Power Range Detectors".
The staff has reviewed the report and concluded the method is satisfactory. This completes our effort on the TIA.
