SURVEILLANCE SPECIMEN CAPSULE TEST REPORT SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NO. 1 DOCKET NO. 50-272 Attached, per the requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix H, Section III.A, is the technical report (WCAP-11955) on the surveillance specimen capsule "Z" which was withdrawn from Salem Unit 1 during the November 1987 refueling outage.
Comparison of test results for the Salem Unit 1 surveillance material with predictions based on NRC Regulatory Guide 1.99 Revision 2 methodology.shows good agreement.
A License Change Request (LC~) revising the Unit 1 heatup and cooldown curves to reflect these results will be forwarded to you by December 1988.
