Per the requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix H, Section III.A, ae>
report providing summary results of surveillance specimen capsule testing is to be submitted to the Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation within one year of withdrawal from the reactor vessel.
During Salem Unit 2's last refueling outage, a surveillance capsule was withdrawn from the reactor vessel on October 21, 1986.
As such a report is due on October 21, 1987.
Because of difficulties at the laboratory performing the surveillance testing, PSE&G is unable to provide the test report by the required date and therefore requests extension of the submittal date to November 30, 1987.
