CONTROL ROOM DESIGN REVIEW RESOLUTION OF HUMAN ENGINEERING DEFICIENCIES SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 Attached for your review are copies of the Salem Generating Station Control Room Human Factors Guidelines (CRHFGs) and resolutions to outstanding Human Engineering Deficiencies (HEDs).
The CRHFG document was developed to provide a human factors reference to assist Salem design personnel in determining proposed design modifications are in accordance with NRC human factors design criteria and Salem specific human factors conventions.
The attached resolutions to outstanding HEDs document discussions held with members of your staff on September 23, 1986.
