NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMIVIISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 March 26, 2018 Mr, Robert Barnes Thermo Gamma-Metrics, LLC 10010 Mesa Rim Rd San Diego, OA 92121 Dear Mr. Barnes; The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), is returning without action, application XCOM1315 submitted on December 8, 2017, for a license to export nuclear reactor components to Israel. Specifically, Thermo Gamma-Metrics requested the export of three channels of wide range neutron monitoring channels, for log power and linear power measurements for the replacement of obsolete neutron flux monitoring electronics at the Soreq Nuclear Research Center in Israel, After consulting with the U.S. Department of State, the NRC confirmed that Israel has not ratified the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Therefore export licensing criteria in 10 CFR 110.42(b), cannot be met. In accordance with 10 CFR 170.31 15.G, the NRC export license application processing fee of $9200.00 will be returned to you.
