AUXILIARY FEEDWATER PUMP RELIABILITY FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-75 UNITS NO. 2 SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-311 Facility Operating License Condition 2.C(24)(c)(ii) required-the perfonnance of a 48 hour5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br /> endurance test for all auxiliary feedwater system pumps prior to initial operation at 100 percent power and submission of a report on the results within 60 days of completion.

This License Condition was previously satisfied.

Recently, PSE&G replaced a damaged auxiliary feedwater pump on Unit No. 2 with a pump of similar design capability; but, from a different manufacturer.

To meet the intent of the referenced license condition, the new pump was also tested for 48 hour5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br />s~ The pump tested satisfactorily and the results of the test are available for NRC review.
