  • (c) for Unit No. 2 and adds total phrase on Unit No. 1 for the same i tern ( c).

LCR 85-02 Continued REASON FOR CHANGE During implementation efforts which followed receipt of Amendments 59 and 28 to the Facility Operating Licenses for Salem Unit Nos. 1 and 2 respectively, a number of typographical and editorial inaccuracies were discovered that are inconsistent with the as-built Salem plants. Implementation of specifications containing these inaccuracies will have a severe impact on station operations involving entry into numerous ACTION statements. Expedited correction and clarification of these items will provide for a timely implementation of the specifications within the guidance and intent of NUREG 0472, Rev. 3, NUREG 0133, and 10CFR50, Appendix I.

SIGNIFICANT HAZARDS EVALUATION These changes are administrative, in that, they either achieve consistency in the Technical Specifications, add clarifications, or correct errors in the recently issued Amendments 59 and 28.

As an administrative change, this amendment request conforms to example (i) of Examples of Amendments That are Considered Not Likely to Involve Significant Hazards Consideration in the guidance provided by the Commission in Federal Register, 48FR14870.
