  • 1 AND 2 SAFEGUARDS REGULATORY EFFECTIVENESS REVIEW In response to your letter dated August 17, 1983, PSE&G is com-mitted to the purchase and installation of the required search equipment by the fourth quarter of 1984 as stated in our letter of August 30, 1983.

The implementation schedule to achieve this goal will be as follows:

TASK

1.

Evaluation of available equipment.

2.

Submit purchase request.

3.

Request bids from vendors.

4.

Evaluate bids/award contract.

5.

Receive equipment.

6.

Install and test equipment.

7.

Equipment operational.

COMPLETION DATE 12/83 1/84 2/84 3/84 8/84 9/84 10/84 It is understood that with* the resolution of this matter all concerns identified in the Regulatory Effectiveness Review will have been satisfactorily addressed.
