CLARIFICATION OF RESPONSE TO 10 CFR 50.54(f) LETTER SALEM GENERATING STATION UNITS NO. 1 AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 Since the submittal of our April 22, 1983 response to your 10 CFR 50.54(f) letter dated April 20, 1983, additional information has become available regarding Westinghouse's treatment of an undervoltage trip attachment which was de-livered to them disassembled.
An amplification of the last sentence in Item 2,II.D. should read "Westinghouse states that no testing was done with this disassembled device; however, visual inspection and dimen~
sional verification of parts were conducted."
